On September 7, 1986 the debut episode of WWF Wrestling Challenge aired from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut and was hosted by Gorilla Monsoon, “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd and “Luscious” Johnny Valiant. Wrestling Challenge was the replacement show for WWF All-Star Wrestling.
