Rescue teams have spent the night saving lives during Storm Evert. The Isles of Scilly took the brunt - with the coastguard describing it as a mass casualty situation and kicking in their emergency plans. Scores of campsites across Cornwall have also been badly affected with holidaymakers taking refuge in their cars.
