Most B3 players can’t tell the year of the organ based on the sound texture. Nor the look of the organ. In the 20 year run of making the hamming B3, every 5 or so years, Hammond made changes to improve the sound. That’s my opinion.. I’m am a fanatic of the B3 from the late 60’s to last run of the mid 70’s. I can tell the year of the organ base on the texture of the vibratos alone.
