I have an app I want to run on my HD monitor, but it launches to my 4K monitor maximized. Normally, all I have to do is minimize it and move it to the other monitor and size or maximize it there.

Apr 20, 2016 · I've tried this on at least 3 LG monitors and TV's up to 42 inch --and works fine. Windows 7 settings will be easier since in the last few years we have now really MONSTER size TV's with far superior graphics etc so drivers will by necessity be more complex than W7 - this is why sometimes you need to adjust the hardware as well.

Mar 2, 2017 · Does the monitor automatically switch to DVI when a DVI cable is connected (and the VGA removed)? Some older dual port monitors required a manual setup to accept DVI. Problem may not be the monitor but a problem with the DVI port in the video card. I would get (or borrow from a friend) another monitor to test.
