Dec 23, 2024 · I just ordered a set of workshop manuals for my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport, however I wanted to know what is the area above the oil pan called on the 4.0? I keep seeing it referred to as the upper oil pan, however that really isn't the nomenclature. I have a small oil leak there but I don't know what gasket to order.

Dec 27, 2019 · I have decided on the ford explorer with the 3.5 ecoboost. I want a 2016+ for the styling and sync3, but i don't want to take on a massive payment so i'm capping my cost at 26k. The sport is readily available under 26k, and the platinum can be had with some price negotiations and maybe a little more miles than i was hoping for.

Jan 19, 2017 · I'm pretty excited, I'm the proud new owner of a 2017 explorer sport. Every option except rear console. Back in 2012 when they announced the explorer sport, I was determined to buy one when they launched. I couldn't strike a deal, so I ended up buying a 13 grand Cherokee trail hawk Hemi.

Mar 2, 2024 · I purchased a 2018 Explorer AWD last year with 70K miles on it. I plan to change the PTU oil this summer. I have watched the video link below from FordTechMakuloco, as a method to change the PTU oil.
