I found a web site that actually sells traditional handmade Amish/Mennonite hats, and they just call them "hats" there. The hats on this web site are made of wool felt by the way.

The size goes all the way to 7 5/8. from the website: Pike Mennonite Dress Hat These hats are made by the same Amish hat maker as the others but are sold to the Pike Mennonites instead of the Amish. The hats have a center groove and a 2 1/2" brim and are made of black fur felt.

Aug 26, 2009 · If the fedora is fairly standard and in the colors of black, brown, or grey they can go with a lot of things. I have found that the shirt is usually the most important when donning a fedora. Somewhat "rugged" fedoras tend to go with more things than super dressy fedoras.

Dec 20, 2015 · This one is made in China and imported through Brooklyn. The hat is really, really stiff, more like a bowler rather than a fedora. These hats are made to sit higher on the head than a fedora might, so keep that in mind if you're ever thinking of getting one. The resting line on your head plus the hard felt means they're not forgiving size-wise.
