Aug 22, 2024 · My first Acura was a 2023 MDX. I was so excited, but I can say only "love" the look, but "like" the car. At 1,500 miles my rear, right wheel sensor failed. Every light on the dash came on. Was told supply chain issues so can't get the replacement part for a month. Also, the car isn't extremely quiet. The tires are loud and road noise can be heard.

Jun 23, 2024 · Just purchased the 2025 Acura MDX 10 days ago from Smail Acura in Greensburg Pa. I do not recommend them. Did not get a good deal and felt the Salesman was sneaky. He neglected to tell me about the omission of SiriusXM on 2025 models. Also, the monitor has blacked out several times on long drives. Comes back on right away but a nuicance.

Sep 26, 2022 · On my 2014 MDX I routed my front cam (Viofo) in a similar manner to what the video shows and for the rear cam, instead of using a 'dual cam' type dashcam (even though I already own one), I simply mounted a second independent cam (another Viofo) at the rear and wired it to an accessory outlet near the back.

Nov 9, 2015 · Previously I used Thule chains on my 2007 BMW X5. I was disappointed to discover Thule doesn't make a chain to fit 245/55/19 - since the MDX is one of the most (if not the most) popular mid-size SUV sold in the USA. So after a bit of looking around, it seems that the only "Acura Recommended" option is a low profile snow-cable. (not a fan of them).

Sep 13, 2022 · Averaged about 75 to 80 on the highways. Two people, FULLY load MDX/Tech with a large solid wooden desk and luggage in the back end (yes, mid seats folded down). I also ran two tanks of reg fuel during the trip just to see if I could detect a difference. NOPE. MDX was a great traveler. Very smooth and comfortable all the way.

Mar 13, 2022 · Acura started using AGM batteries for their vehicles with Auto Stop/Start systems with previous gens. The 3rd gen RLX and MDX hybrids started with AGM batteries; but, switched them out to regular lead acid types around +2018. Count yourself lucky to have AGM because Acura has a bad rep with their OEM FLA batteries failing in 3-4 year range.
