The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was called to an area south of Winside on Saturday after a wind turbine maintenance crew experienced an equipment failure, resulting in two men falling from a turbine, said sheriff Jason Dwinell in a press release.

Two men were killed over the weekend in an incident south of Winside, Nebraska. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Eddy Noriega Sebinet and 37-year-old Raidel Justiz Noriega were working on a wind turbine on Saturday when they experienced an equipment malfunction which resulted in them falling off

According to the sheriff’s office, a turbine maintenance crew experienced equipment failure, resulting in the two men falling. Eddy Noriega Sebinet, 46, and Raidel Justiz Noriega, 37, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
