According to PTI, India's only representative in the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, Nitin Menon, has opted out of officiating in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan this month due to personal reasons. Javagal Srinath is also not part of the referee panel.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the list of match officials assigned for the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy on Wednesday, February 5.

India has named just three pacers, Bumrah, Shami, and Arshdeep Singh — in their Champions Trophy squad. Harshit Rana was selected as Bumrah's injury backup for the first two ODIs against England, while Mohammed Siraj was left out. However, Chopra believes Siraj will make his way back into the 15-man squad.
