Enzo Le Fee is set to travel to Sunderland this afternoon to be put through a medical by the Black Cats as they close in on signing him from Italian giants Roma. Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris has asked the club to bring in Le Fee this month and he looks set to get his wish.

Le Bris has stressed the importance of Sunderland being "accurate" in the January transfer window and signing players who will "connect" with his current squad, on and off the pitch. He believes Le Fee would be a good fit in the dressing room, and wants to strengthen his midfield department before the window closes.

Sunderland are set to sign midfielder Enzo Le Fee on loan from Roma. The 24-year-old only joined the Serie A side in a €23million move in July but has gone on to make just 10 appearances and only six starts.
