The Boston College Eagles (4-3, 1-2 ACC) football team lost to the Virginia Tech Hokies (4-3, 2-1 ACC) 42-21 on Thursday night at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va. After the game, Eagles head coach Bill O’Brien spoke about what he saw during the game and what needs to be improved on.

The Eagles ripped off 21 unanswered points in the third quarter to swiftly slice into the Hokies' lead heading into the fourth, but Virginia Tech soon regained control.
