The early designs of the iPhone 16 family, reported during Q4 2023, saw several iterations of the Action and Camera Buttons as Apple presumably tried out various options in scratch builds and prototypes. The same is true of any design change, including adding a new Button. While the final form factor may not be finalised, the intention is clear.

Bloomberg recently reported that Apple is close to releasing an updated iPhone SE, which will be its first update to the low-end model since 2022. According to 9to5Mac, Apple is also planning to use the phone as a launching pad for its in-house 5G modems.

The upcoming iPhone SE 4 from Apple will likely introduce a new 5G modem, a design akin to the iPhone 14, and advanced features powered by the A18 chip. It may inherit camera specs from the iPhone 15 while omitting some lens options.
