An Aiken County man has been charged with attempted murder after he shot an employee at a Lexington County business Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. Howard Fogle Jr., 73, of Wagener, faces an attempted murder charge and possession of a weapon during a violent crime charge.

A 24-year-old Albany man on Friday was indicted by a grand jury on attempted murder charges in connection with a shooting near an Interstate 787 exit ramp in Menands last month, according to the Menands Police Department.
