The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division increased the city’s total charging location to 17 and total EV chargers to 36. The newly added stations are at McKinnie Avenue near Three Fountains Apartments and at McKinnie Commons, South Anthony Boulevard and McKinnie Avenue.

The county has installed new electric vehicle charging stations for public use at four county facilities. Those facilities are the Ashburn Library, Ashburn Senior Center, Lucketts Community Center and

The Iowa Department of Transportation has awarded about $16.2 million to add 28 fast-charging stations for electric vehicles along Iowa’s interstates, the first awards in the $51 million Iowa expects to receive in federal funds for the stations.

The City of Fort Wayne again invested in the southeast quadrant with two EV charging stations on McKinnie Avenue. They are the 35th and 36th stations installed by the city.

State Farm Insurance is removing electric vehicle charging stations from its parking decks at Corporate and Corporate South headquarters in Bloomington, and at hubs throughout the nation.
