The 2024-25 Major League Baseball offseason is underway, and that means an almost daily supply of rumors regarding free agency, trades, and the like. This week is no exception, even as we've just dipped our toes into the hot stove season.

Juan Soto has dominated the first few weeks of the MLB offseason, and he deserves to do so. Excluding Shohei Ohtani, he’s the most highly sought-after free agent since Alex Rodríguez more than 20 years ago.

Aaron Judge said he hasn’t spoken to Juan Soto since the New York Yankees lost in the World Series in late October, but he’s come up in conversation with owner Hal Steinbrenner. “He knows how we feel about him,” Judge said.
