Leon Draisaitl had two goals, including the overtime winner, and Connor McDavid had a goal and three assists to move one point shy of 1,000 for his career as the Edmonton Oilers beat the New York Islanders 4-3.

Connor McDavid (1G, 3A) led the Oilers with four points, while Draisaitl (2G) and Evan Bouchard also scored for the Oilers. Ilya Sorokin stopped 38-of-42 shots in the loss, with Stuart Skinner stopped 19-of-22 in the win. Despite the OT loss, the Islanders extended their point streak to four games (2-0-2).

The Oilers came out with a win despite blowing a third-period lead in an overtime thriller against the New York Islanders on Tuesday night. And wouldn't you know it, Connor McDavid led the charge.
