Lawyer Michael Poa said Tuesday he is no longer the spokesperson of Vice President Sara Duterte since his consultancy contract has already been terminated, Poa made the disclosure during the House good government and public accountability inquiry on the Vice President's budget use,

However, in the case of the spokesman of the Office of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Atty. Michael Poa, he recently clarified that he is no longer connected with Duterte’s office. He was also the spokesman of the Department of Education when Duterte was the education secretary.

Poa was Duterte's go-to crisis communicator, handling hot-button issues that have dogged the Vice President over the past two years.
