McDonald's said it would resume selling its Quarter Pounder hamburgers, saying the meat was not the source of E. coli infections that have sickened at least 75 people and killed one man. A McDonald's spokesperson says slivered onions are the most likely source of the the outbreak.

All contaminated products related to the E. coli outbreak that sickened 75 people across 13 states, with one reported fatality, are now fully out of McDonald's restaurants, the company said in a statement Sunday.
