Jaylen Dwayne Edgar, 17, was arrested in Orlando as the suspected shooter in a Halloween night mass shooting that killed two people and injured six others.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The 17-year-old suspect in last week’s downtown Orlando Halloween shooting that left two people dead and eight others injured is being charged as an adult, authorities announced Monday.

A teenage boy is accused of shooting several people who were celebrating Halloween in downtown Orlando, police said. Two people have died, and at least six others remain hospitalized.
