(CBS DETROIT) - Police are investigating after a child was shot Tuesday night on Detroit's east side. The shooting happened in the 500 block of Dickerson Avenue. DETROIT – Police are searching for Darius Lacey, 27, who they say allegedly shot a 2-year-old on Detroit’s east side. The shooting occurred on Tuesday (Nov. 26) in the 553 block of Dickerson Avenue at 6:48 p.m. Officials say the child was shot in the leg and was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital by a member of the family.
