Dense fog in Northern Illinois Monday morning could impact the rush hour commute, the NBC 5 Storm Team said, with some parts of the Chicago area seeing sharply reduced visibility, especially in counties to the west.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory Sunday night into Monday morning for the New Orleans metro area, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and the rest of southeastern Louisiana.

A dense fog advisory was issued by the NWS Hanford CA on Monday at 9:47 a.m. Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog for Hanford - Corcoran - Lemoore until noon today. "Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," states the NWS. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."

On Sunday at 3:28 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 7 a.m. for Hudson, Essex and Union counties.

On Monday at 9:42 a.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 1 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.
