Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger has sworn off chicken wings for five years following his recent bout with food poisoning.

Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger was out of the lineup for Tuesday's game in Detroit after coming down with a brutal case of food poisoning. It was apparently so bad that Bellinger is swearing off the food he blames for getting him sick. That's right — no more wings for Bellinger.

He was just trying to enjoy watching the national championship game Monday night in his hotel room when he ordered some room-service chicken wings.
