Sunday’s win over NC Central gave LSU women’s basketball’s head coach Kim Mulkey her 100th win as the Tigers’ leader. Mulkey is the quickest coach in LSU basketball history, men’s or women’s, to reach that mark, as she did it within 114 games. She outpaced Sue Gunter, the previous record holder, who needed 129 games.

The LSU women’s basketball team ran North Carolina Central off the Pete Maravich Assembly Center floor on Sunday, winning 131-44 for its 100th victory under coach Kim Mulkey. In the win, the No. 7 Tigers (9-0) scored the second-most points on the second-most field goals makes (49) in a single game in program history.
