Brock Purdy did not have the best of campaigns with the San Francisco 49ers this past season.

The Denver Broncos were the beneficiaries of two huge free-agent signings from the same team. There's a good reason why that happened, and the Broncos were quite fortunate because of it.

After losing multiple veterans as free agents, the question of what's next for the 49ers is difficult to answer.

Don't do it 49ers. Do not lucratively extend quarterback Brock Purdy. They must not do that, but it is what Purdy and his agent will be pursuing this offseason.
