A judge has granted a request for a mental health evaluation for a Tacoma man accused of causing thousands of dollars in damage at two local car dealerships.

Two people were killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash on Yakima Avenue in Tacoma on Thursday afternoon.

Keon Simms, 29, pleaded guilty to manslaughter for his part in a shooting outside an apartment in 2021 and a road-rage incident in 2022.
