New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has acquired defenseman Calvin de Haan, forward Juuso Parssinen, a conditional second-round pick and a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Ryan Lindgren,

The Blueshirts traded two of their pending UFAs in one deal, netting Juuso Parssinen, Calvin de Haan and two draft picks in return.

De Haan notched an assist, six hits, two blocked shots, two shots on goal and two PIM in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Predators. De Haan had played in six straight games for the Avalanche before he was traded to the Rangers on Saturday.

De Haan was traded to the Rangers from Colorado, along with Juuso Parssinen and two draft picks for Ryan Lindgren, Jimmy Vesey and Hank Kempf on Saturday, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN. De Haan has been a solid third unit defenseman for the Avalanche,
