It has been confirmed that Yamaha is developing a V4 engine for their Yamaha M1, but they are yet to test it on track.

Yamaha is developing a V4 MotoGP engine which could be seen on track during 2025. Yamaha, which has raced Inline four-cylinder engines since the start of the MotoGP era, is ‘busy developing a V4 powerplant’. Yamaha Racing managing director Lin Jarvis confirmed the news in an interview with MotoGP.com.

Yamaha made something special with that engine, and it's the same for the R1, as well as the brand's MotoGP entry. But the latter might be changing as, while there's just nothing like it on the grid,

Yamaha R15M MotoGP edition has been launched in India at Rs 1.98 lakh, ex-showroom. This is, essentially, the R15M in the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team colours. The paint scheme is quite similar to the one seen on the YZR-M1 MotoGP machine.

Both models are powered by a 155cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. This engine provides a maximum power output of 13.5 kW and a peak torque of 14.2 Nm. Both models also include Bluetooth connectivity,
