A Pinpoint Yellow Alert Day is in place today as we wait for more snow to arrive to the Mid-Ohio Valley. We will start off this morning with very frigid temperatures. Most of the region is starting off very close to 0 degrees.

A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day will be in effect Saturday for accumulating snowfall from Saturday into Sunday, especially in the mountains.

For all of Puget Sound, including the metro corridor all the way south through Lewis County, a Wind Advisory has been issued through Thursday morning.

Light snow falling paired with 45 mph wind gusts will lead to difficult travel and low visibility. Use extra caution if you will be traveling in this area, and remember the saying “Ice and snow, take it slow.

Snow will fall for most of the day Thursday around metro Denver, with the southern and western suburbs seeing higher totals from the quick-moving storm.

FOX31 Pinpoint Weather Chief Meteorologist Dave Fraser is tracking more snow and frigid temperatures in the Denver metro area ahead of a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day.

Light morning snow showers could create some issues along the Palmer Divide and east along Interstate 70, but the snow should be done by noon with a breezy wind through the afternoon in the Denver weather forecast.
