A NASA astronaut who experienced a "medical issue" and was hospitalized after partaking in the successful Space X Crew-8 mission has been released, NASA officials said.

Four astronauts were unexpectedly transferred to a medical facility after their return from space Friday morning. Three were released, while one astronaut remained hospitalized Friday afternoon.
