Tacoma International Airport (SEA) welcomes the announcement of five weekly nonstop flights to Copenhagen on Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) starting in May 2025. SAS will operate seasonal summer flights to Denmark’s capital city.

After 57 years, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will have direct flights to Seattle again starting next summer. On Tuesday, Scandinavian Airlines announced five weekly direct flights from Copenhagen to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport starting in the summer of 2025.

Outside of Denmark, SAS remains committed to its operations in Oslo and Stockholm. Starting in the summer of 2025, passengers flying from Oslo will have access to a new seasonal route to New York (JFK), while Stockholm will continue to serve as an important gateway for both European and intercontinental flights.

SAS will seasonally fly five times per week between Denmark and Seattle, starting May 21. Seattle will be Scandinavian carrier's 10th U.S. destination from Copenhagen, joining Atlanta, Boston, Newark, New York, Los Angeles, Washington Dulles, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami.

After more than a decade, passengers will again be able to fly direct from Seattle to Copenhagen on Scandinavian Airlines.
