Kremlin says no compromise with US on Ukraine, no Putin-Trump meeting planned
Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov has said after talks with representatives of US President Donald Trump's team that no compromise version of a plan to end the war in Ukraine has been found so far.
President Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday, amid a push by Mr. Trump to end the war in Ukraine.
The full details are not yet clear but reportedly include demands Kyiv cede more territory and limit its armed forces, writes Ian Bremmer.
Mark Rutte's comments come a day after Putin rejected US proposals for peace in Ukraine after talks with US negotiators in Moscow.
