The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has arrived in New York City, signaling the start of the holiday season in the Big Apple.

The tree will be decorated over the next few weeks with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star before the tree lighting ceremony.

The 2024 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be cut down from West Stockbridge on Nov. 7 before it travels roughly 140 miles to Manhattan. It will arrive in the plaza on Saturday, Nov. 9, and be hoisted into place.
