A wintry mix that may begin as early as Wednesday afternoon will lead to icy roads, the National Weather Service warns.

Days after Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, a nasty ice storm packing sleet, snow and freezing rain will blast the East Coast on Thursday morning—and two more winter storms are also in the forecast for late Friday and next week.

The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 2:08 p.m. on Wednesday valid from 11 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for Eastern Montgomery and Lower Bucks as well as Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

On Tuesday at 4:16 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid for Wednesday between midnight and noon for Lower Columbia River, Tualatin Valley, West Hills and Chehalem Mountains,
