A Massachusetts individual charged with assault with intent to murder after six people, including four girls at a movie theater, were stabbed and wounded in separate attacks, has been re-committed to Bridgewater State Hospital for further evaluation on criminal responsibility.

A mental health evaluation of Jared Ravizza, of Chilmark, has been extended after a competency hearing at Plymouth District Court on Monday.

A Massachusetts man accused in a series of stabbings on the South Shore, including attacking four young girls at a Braintree movie theatre, and a murder in Connecticut, appeared in court Monday. Jared Ravizza allegedly stabbed four girls at a Braintree movie theater and two workers at a Plymouth McDonald’s in May.
