ESPN’s Adam Schefter was informed that cornerback Kristian Fulton is signing a two-year deal with the Chargers’ hated rival, the Kansas City Chiefs . The deal is worth $20 million and gives the former second-round pick a chance to start for one of the most decorated defensive coordinators in NFL history in Steve Spagnuolo.

The Kansas City Chiefs offseason haul has been relatively quiet, with the team landing running back Elijah Mitchell and offensive tackle Jaylen Moore. Now, the team has made more of a splash by adding a corner from their divisional rivals.

Thanks to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Chiefs may have at least one contingency plan in place. The Chargers signed Najee Harris on a one-year deal, seemingly kicking JK Dobbins to the curb; or in this case, to a division rival.
