Southwest Florida eagle F23 is presumed dead after a deceased eagle was found near the nest, leaving M15 to solo parent.
One half of a famous Florida bald eagle pair has not returned to the nest in days, according to Southwest Florida Eagle Cam.
The eagle mom had been missing since Feb. 27, but is likely dead. She had just welcomed an eaglet with her mate.
