Bronny James, son of Lakers star LeBron James, is not being treated like a typical NBA G League player. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst on “The Hoop Collective,” Bronny will only play in home games for the South Bay Lakers and will not be traveling with the team for away games,

Bronny James is getting more special treatment from the Lakers. LeBron’s eldest son, whom the Lakers took late in the second round of this year’s NBA draft, will only be playing in G League home games and won’t be getting on commercial flights for the South Bay Lakers’ road contests,

The South Bay Lakers play 24 home games this season, with their next scheduled for Sunday against the Stockton Kings.
