Boeing Co. has shed a securities suit over two crashes involving its 737 MAX airliners brought by a firm that buys recovery rights from liquidating investment funds.

Boeing has recorded its strongest start to a year since 2023, delivering 46 aircraft in January 2026 compared to 19 from Airbus, following the lifting of production caps on the 737 Max. Both giants are under pressure to accelerate output as China’s Comac builds a significant order book for its C919 in Asia.

Boeing has announced next steps to prepare its North Line in Everett for production, a move that will expand manufacturing of the 737 MAX aircraft and create new job opportunities.

WestJet confirms that it has converted a half-dozen of its orders for the Boeing 737-10 into a pair of 787-9 Dreamliners.

The MAX 10 will fly at around Mach 0.79, but will have a higher seating capacity and a range able to serve most routes.
