Lucknow: The BJP won five seats and was leading comfortably in Kundarki while its ally RLD clinched one of the nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh where bypolls were held on November 20, according to the Election Commission.

The BJP was leading in four seats while the Samajwadi Party was ahead in two of the nine Assembly seats for which bypolls were held, according to Election Commission trends on Saturday (November 23, 2024).

The Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in six of nine Uttar Pradesh Assembly seats for which bypolls were held this week, as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reasserts control over the state that is at the core of the BJP's Hindi voter base.

The BJP emerged victorious in five seats and was leading in one at 6 pm, while the SP secured Karhal and Sishamau seats

In Uttar Pradesh bypolls, the BJP and RLD led in six of nine seats, while the Samajwadi Party led in three. The BJP had won most of these seats in 2022.
