A fake post is doing the rounds on the internet claiming that CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury was actually a Christian.

The body of CPI (M) veteran Sitaram Yechury was donated to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday, for medical research. The ceremony, marked by chants of “Lal Salaam,” saw Yechury’s body wrapped in the red CPI (M) flag.

General Secretary Sitaram Yechury were taken to AIIMS for donation, in line with his wishes. Several political leaders paid tribute, acknowledging his contributions to bridging ideological divides.
