The move to delay the election to fill Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s seat is dead. The state Senate was poised to debate the delay on Monday with Democrats claiming it would save money on running elections and Republicans charging it was a tactic to make the House majority even thinner than it already is by keeping the seat vacant,
