Philadelphia-area school closings and delays: School districts respond to cold, windy weather
Several Philadelphia-area school districts have announced delays and closings for Monday in response to bitter cold and strong winds.
Two Philadelphia police officers were hospitalized after a fire in North Philly early Sunday morning. The fire happened at a building on the 1400 block of North 15th Street at around 4:20 a.m., according to the Philadelphia Fire Department. Crews arrived on the scene and found smoke coming from an apartment on the fourth floor.
Lafayette Dailey had been found dead in his home on North 16th Street on Dec. 5. A medical examination found that he died from multiple stab wounds.
