Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in New Haven Tuesday night. The police department said the shooting happened in the area of Shelton Avenue and Huntington Street. It’s unknown what led up to the incident.

Police believe the homicide is connected to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old on Goffe Street days before Thanksgiving.

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in New Haven on Monday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to the rear parking lot of 730 George St. around 3:23 p.m. after 911 calls reporting a person shot, according to Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police Department.
