MSNBC viewers are revolting as viewership for "Morning Joe" has taken a hit after its hosts revealed they had a meeting with President-elect Trump.

The defeated MSNBC anchors -- who have slammed Trump in the past as a “fascist" and compared him to Adolf Hitler -- had a face-to-face with the winning Republican at his Mar-a-Lago estate Friday to “restart communications” after conceding that Americans had overwhelmingly made their choice by re-electing him.

Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” says she did not anticipate the severity of the controversy sparked by a meeting she and her co-host and husband Joe Scarborough had with President-elect Trump late last week.

The hosts traveled to Mar-a-Lago over the weekend, where they agreed to "restart communications" with the President-elect.

In the 25-54 age demographic that is most coveted by advertisers, viewership dropped 38% -- from 113,000 people to 70,000.
