A Mount Vernon-Lisbon K9 officer that went missing was found dead in a pond in Lisbon on Tuesday, according to the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun.

The Mt. Vernon-Lisbon Police Department is searching for a K9 officer named “Monster.” Monster was last seen at 10:30 p.m. Monday at his home. The department says Monster was with his handler when he left the property.
