San Diego International Airport on Tuesday welcomed KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as the airport's seventh international airline, set to arrive next spring.

In addition to the new San Diego service, KLM announced that it will also add service to Georgetown, Guyana, as part of a triangle route connecting to St. Martin. The airline will also fly to Hyderabad, India, next year.

Alaska Airlines to add new nonstop flights between San Diego, Washington, D.C. Other SkyTeam Alliance member airlines include Aerolíneas Argentinas, Aeroméxico, Air Europa, Air France, China Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Kenya Airways, Korean Air, Middle East Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, among others.

KLM launches direct San Diego-Amsterdam flights in May 2025, expanding European access and seamless SkyTeam connections for Southern California travelers.

The Dutch flag carrier will be the seventh international airline to offer nonstop flights to San Diego. The new year-round route to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) will expand nonstop access from San Diego to three European cities, joining flights to London (LHR) with British Airways and Munich (MUC) on Lufthansa.
