Tatsuro Taira has reacted to Joshua Van's UFC 323 flyweight title win over Alexandre Pantoja this past Saturday.

Tatsuro Taira defeated former UFC champion Brandon Moreno on the same night, making him an appealing contender. Van liked what he saw from Taira. Although he'd be willing to fight the Japanese fighter, Van would still much rather rematch Pantoja, should that be in the cards.

The future looks bright for UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan after UFC 323. A change in leadership brings many possibilities for Yan: a trilogy with Merab Dvalishvili, a rematch with Sean O'Malley, or an elite showdown with Umar Nurmagomedov.

It's hard not to think about what could have been when you see Petr Yan's and Joshua Van's championship paths.
