Amid an ever-growing list of soap stars affected by the wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area, comes the news that Young & Restless icon Eric Braeden has had to abandon his family home due to the encroaching threat.

The "Young and the Restless" star got candid in a recent emotional interview about losing his home of 45 years to the raging LA wildfires.

The beloved Soap star shared ominous videos of flames closing in on his backyard as helicopters swooped in earlier this week and told fans he was evacuating. He returned to the home with Entertainment Tonight tagging along and the result was heartbreaking video of him realizing that he had lost everything.

When Eric Braeden returned home - or to the property that was once his home - he didn't go alone. Entertainment Tonight accompanied him. "I left as Rogers Park was burning," he said. "[The fire] hadn't jumped the canyon yet.
