Veteran all-rounder Mohammad Nabi is in very good touch as of late. He smacked 44 runs off 27 deliveries against Zimbabwe in the first T20I and that was vital, given that the team was struggling at one point. Even so, Nabi played his natural cricket and helped Afghanistan post a fightable total.

Zimbabwe will be high on morale after a thrilling win in the series finale against Pakistan last week. Yes, they lost the series but managed to avoid the whitewash and against them are Afghanistan, who have played as many as six ODIs in the last couple of months or so but not any T20Is since June.
