The Chicago White Sox reinstated rookie infielder Chase Meidroth from the 10-day injured list on Thursday. He takes the roster spot of rookie infielder Gage Workman, who went on the 10-day IL with a right hip flexor strain.

Meidroth used his stint on the 10-day IL recovering from right thumb inflammation to "watch the game the right way."
